A number of Social Welfare clinics across the county are set for closure, the Leader has learned.
According to Fine Gael Deputy James Bannon, the Minister for Social Protection, Joan Burton TD, informed him that the clinics in the county were due to be “realigned”. “From August 12, 2013, clinics in Ballinalee, Kenagh and Smear will be closed,” Deputy Bannon confirmed.
