The LSCC (Longford Shooting and Conservation Club) are running their annual county shoot event this Sunday, August 20.
Approximately 18 teams will compete in this year's competitions battling for the honours.
This year's competition is taking place in Templemichael Shooting Grounds at 10am. Granard are the reigning champions after winning the 2022 competition by the smallest margins of one clay over Mostrim.
Will Granard reign supreme again? Could home advantage help Templemichael? Can one of the many other capable clubs have their day in the light?
Prizes will range across all categories (Senior, Junior, Trainee and Veteran high gun individual trophies will be competed for along with the team events Senior, Intermediate and Junior). All clubs taking part are wished the best of luck.
