Exciting music programme for 2023 Longford Agricultural Show

Stuart Moyles, Bríd Shaughnessy and Seamus Farrell will be performing at the Longford Agricultural Show on Sunday

The live stage at the Longford Agricultural Show will see performances from Stuart Moyles, Brid Shaughnessy, Caillín Joe, Seamus Farrell.

The musical entertainment will go on all day on the stage from 12:00 o'clock. All Ireland National Jiving Championship Qualifier will be hosted by Ger Butler.

Stuart Moyles hails from a well-known music family from Ballina, Mayo. His brothers Trevor and Jason have been associated with the country music scene.

Stuart is a dynamic and entertaining live act. He is a performer that loves what he does and this is very evident in every performance, he is really looking forward to getting back to live gigs.

Over the past couple of years the popular singer has played at major dance venues, music festivals as well as music weekends and concerts supporting Nathan Carter, Michael English, Gerry Guthrie too name but a few.

Longford music fans will be familiar with Brid Shaughnessy. Brid has worked with one of the biggest names in Country & Irish music - Mike Denver - who was her mentor while took part in Glór Tíre.

Tyrone country singer Caillín Joe was among the children to feature on RTÉ's annual Late Late Christmas toy show. Caillín McDonald, from Creggan, Tyrone was chosen from more than 7,000 applicants to perform to millions of viewers watching this year's Toy Show.

Better known as Caillín Joe, the 14-year-old has been applying to perform on the show since he was aged just nine.

Seamus Farrell is another well know Longford performer. Seamus's country styling will once again provide a soundtrack to the Longford Agricultural Show.

Music and Dancing is supported by North Midlands Credit Union, Green Pasture Foods Drumlish, Peter Hanley Motors, Elegant Interiors Longford, LCRL, and Longford County Council.
