Funding for local footpaths available

Funding has been allocated for work on the footpaths in Lanesboro and Killashee village, the Leader has learned.

Funding has been allocated for work on the footpaths in Lanesboro and Killashee village, the Leader has learned.

Speaking to the paper, Cllr Mark Casey (Ind) said that the finance had been secured after a local deputation met with the NRA to discuss the matter in more detail. “The need for the funding for the works were highlighted as repairs are required along the N63 in Lanesboro and Killashee,” he added. “This is great news and will finally enable the completion of footpaths.”
