Builder in place for Granard estate

A building contractor for the planed refurbishment of Trumra Road in Granard has been appointed, and work is expected to commence in the estate in March.

A building contractor for the planed refurbishment of Trumra Road in Granard has been appointed, and work is expected to commence in the estate in March.

Local area representative Cllr PJ Reilly (FF) said the move was positive and pointed to the fact that all documents in respect of the matter, have been signed.

“Contract tendering documents have been signed and put into place for works to commence on Trumra Rd, Granard, with builders Brendan Sammon, Aughnashelin, Co Leitrim,” Cllr Reilly added. “This project is costing a total of p1.5m and includes the external and internal refurbishment of 41 houses, within the estate.”
