The arrangements for the state funeral of former Taoiseach and Longford TD Albert Reynolds have been announced.
Reposing in the Oak Room of the Mansion House on Dawson St in Dublin from 1pm to 6pm tomorrow afternoon (Saturday, August 23), with removal to the Church of the Sacred Heart at Donnybrook, Dublin, arriving at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday (August 25) at 12pm, followed by burial at Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill, Dublin. No flowers, please; instead, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Irish Cancer Society.
Seating will be reserved at the Mass on Monday, with limited remaining seating available for the public. The mass will also be relayed outside the church.
