€10,000 Heart of the Community funding for county Longford's Lus na Gréine FRC
The Ireland Funds, the global philanthropic network, has awarded €10,000 in funding to Lus na Gréine FRC Granard through its Heart of the Community Fund 2022, which is responding to the needs of a wide range of not-for-profit organisations.
Lus na Gréine serves a population of more than 10,000 people with high levels of adversity.
This grant will be used to provide mental health supports to marginalised families and refugee families to cope with anxiety, stress and trauma from social exclusion and war.
