Another lucky Longford player has won €50,000 in the EuroMillions Ireland Only Raffle.

The Longford player's number came up in Friday night's Euromillions Draw. The winning ticket was sold at Spar, Main Street, Longford.

It was the second Friday in a row that a Longford player scooped €50,000 in the Friday night Euromillions raffle. The previous week a winning ticket was sold at Circle K on Battery Road, Longford.

Two players in Dublin, and players in Galway, Kildare, Kilkenny, Longford, Louth, Offaly, Sligo and Waterford all scooped the special raffle prize which was the tenth of twelve draws in the National Lottery’s ’12 Draws of Christmas’ EuroMillions promotion.

This raffle event means that ten players will scoop €50,000 each in every EuroMillions draw every Tuesday and Friday between November 15 and December 23.

Also winning big in Friday's €40,613,995 EuroMillions jackpot draw was a Laois player who matched five numbers to win a prize worth €41,399. The winning ticket was sold at the Applegreen service station on the M7 in Abbeyleix, Co. Laois.

Meanwhile, there were even more winners in Saturday night’s Lotto draw which saw 96 players get a massive boost to their winnings as the National Lottery topped up the Lotto Plus Raffle with an additional €1 million. Last night, there were 96 Raffle winners which meant the boosted prize fund divided out to a prize of €10,917, for each Raffle winner.

The winning Lotto Plus Raffle number was: 5746

There was no winner of last night's Lotto jackpot which was worth €8,847,086. Next Wednesday's (December 21) Lotto jackpot is set to roll to a massive €9.2 million.
