Emergency services including fire brigade and gardaí are currently at the scene of an accident on the N55 Ballymahon to Edgeworthstown Road due to an overturned trailer near Ballymahon.
Diversions are currently in place through the village if Barry with busy traffic on that road now as farmers bring animals to Ballymahon Mart.
The Leader understands a trailer carrying five cows has overturned following a crash.
