A total of €6m is to be spent on roads in the Ballymahon Municipal District as part of a three year roads plan, with a total of €2m ringfenced for the Main Street of Ballymahon.
Lanesboro’s Main Street is earmarked for an upgrade of €500,000, with the remainder of the funding to be used on othe r roads around Ballymahon MD.
