A Longford motorist was stopped by Gardaí over the Easter weekend, travelling at over double the legal speed limit.
The driver of the Nissan car was stopped by Longford Roads Policing Unit in Longford Town on Easter Sunday morning, April 20.
The motorist was clocked travelling at 107kms/hr in a 50km/hr zone. The driver will be issued with a fixed charge penalty notice (FCPN) as a result of the offence.
