Cllr Mick Cahill wants works to be carried out on a roundabout in Edgeworthstown.
Cllr Mick Cahill has called on Longford County Council to consider making the roundabouts in Edgeworthstown maintenance-free, similar to the N4 one at Dromod.
Area engineer Paul Newell agreed that the stone roundabout would be easier to maintain and suggested talking to the Tidy Towns group to come up with a design before he seeks funding to carry out the work.
