A planning application, for a housing development in Granard, has been lodged with Longford County Council.

The application, made on behalf of MFG Construction Ltd, consists of the proposed construction of 26 dwelling houses.

The development will consist of 20 semi-detached two bedroom bungalows incorporating three types, and six three bedroom bungalows; along with the provision of new access road and entrance; green open space; boundary fences/walls, internal access road; connection to public services with sewer and water supply, and all associated ancillary site works at Rathcronan, Granard, Co Longford.
