The various interests of local politicians have been revealed in a new Dáil register of declared interests
Property, land and directorships make up the declared interests of all four of Longford/Westmeath's current Dáil politicians.
The new Dáil register of declared interests was released into the public domain in recent days, revealing the personal assets of all 158 Dail deputies.
Fine Gael's Peter Burke is recorded as being the voluntary director of Mullingar Homecare Services and youth training and development agency, Mullingar TDA.
Labour TD Willie Penrose revealed interests in a grocery and newsagents which he jointly holds with his wife, who also maintains an interest in Mullingar based constituency office.
The title of managing directorship of an Athlone taxi company, together with almost two acres of land at Coosan make up Independent Alliance TD and OPW Minister Kevin 'Boxer' Moran's declared interests.
Alongside his other 'occupation' of postmaster at Ballynacargy Post Office, Fianna Fáil TD Robert Troy is listed as a landlord, owing chiefly to three properties under his ownership in Mullingar (2) and Dublin respectively.
