Longford Gardaí look for clues into weekend theft

Longford Gardaí are investigating a break-in at a business premises in Longford town over the weekend

A business premises in Longford town was the subject of a break-in over the weekend, gardaí have confirmed.

Detectives are investigating the circumstances behind an incident which occurred at a business at Great Water Street sometime between 11am last Saturday (January 27) and 10:50am on Monday morning.

A leaf-blower was reported stolen as a consequence and is now the topic of an investigation by Longford Gardaí.

It’s believed the culprit, or culprits, gained access to the property by removing a panel from a rear door.
Gardaí wish to speak to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the vicinity of Great Water Street between last Saturday morning and Monday of this week to contact them at Longford Garda Station on (043) 3350570.
