Specsavers Longford raised much needed funds for Our Lady's Children's Hospital as staff, customers and passers-by participated in a stair climber challenge recently.
Customers were invited to show their support by getting involved in the climb or making a donation to the charity.
Specsavers Longford Director Fiona Ferguson said, “We would like to thank the local community for their unwavering support. We were amazed by the level of enthusiasm and the generosity of all who really got behind the campaign.
“Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital provides invaluable care to sick children and the money raised is enabling the charity to make a tremendous difference to the lives of Irish families.”
Specsavers Ireland recently presented Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin with a cheque for €120,000.
