'Ladies Pamper Night' for St Christopher's

A fundraising pamper evening will take place at the Longford Arms Hotel next week.

The 'Ladies Pamper Night' which is being organised by Jo Purkis and Paula O’Connor will raise funds for St Christopher’s Services and while the ballroom at the Longford Arms Hotel is being provided for free, all local business are being asked to come on board to help with running costs.

Tickets for this event cost just €25 and those in attendance will be greeted with a glass of champagne on arrival, treated to canapes and at least one treatment, and be provided with an assortment of stalls that will sell everything from jewellery to health food products.

Treatments will be provided by Hair Square; Esther Nails and will include ambience and Reflexology, while stalls will include Wendy Louise Designs; Cherche La Femme and Shauna’s Clinical Pilates.

“All proceeds on the night will go to St Christopher’s Services,” said Ms Purkis who also pointed out that organisers were eager to get as many businesses on board in an effort to mitigate costs.

“We will also have goodie bags on the night for those who attend and we are very grateful to the Longford Arms for sponsoring the ballroom,” she added.

Proceedings kick off on Thursday, April 7 next from 7:30-11:30 pm and support on the night would be very much appreciated.

A raffle will also take place during the event with a number of wonderful prizes up for grabs including an Earley’s Voucher (€50); Couture Voucher (€30) and a bottle of wine from Doyle’s Bar.

Businesses already on board include Hair by Ronan; The Brandywell and Tighe’s Centra, Rooskey however more businesses are being invited to also come on board. For more information contact Jo on (086) 150 4395.
