The L-1011 Knockloughlin road, situated north outside Longford Town, is set to temporarily close for 8 hours each day from tomorrow, Wednesday 25 until March 18.
The closure is to facilitate resurfacing works that will be taking place from 8am-4pm each day.
Local diversions will be in place during the hours of closure.
Traffic lights will also be in place but delays are to be expected.
