Longford County Council have advised motorists to expect delays this week as road maintenance works are carried out on the L-5096 road between Gelshagh Cross and Bunlahy Cross in Ballinalee.
The works will begin today Monday 16 and will take place from 8am-4pm each day until this Friday February 20.

The road will remain open but short traffic delays should be expected as a traffic management system will be in place for the duration of the works, namely stop-go signage and/or temporary traffic lights.
