Longford County Council's search for puppy owner

Longford County Council have posted a photo of their latest arrival to the dog pound, a 6 month old Bison.

If you are the owner of this dog or if you know who this dog belongs to, please contact 043 334 3462 or email dogcontrol@longfordcoco.ie 

The council has asked that in the event of a dog going missing, pet owners should report the incident to the council's dog warden and provide a recent photograph so they can assist where possible. 

They will also need details such as 

• Breed, gender, size, colour, age, any distinguishing marks  
• Details of tag and collar and microchip number

So please keep a record of this information in case the unthinkable occurs. 

The council have also asked that people who find stray dogs to report the find to the Council Dog Warden by phone to 043 334 34 62 or by email to dogcontrol@longfordcoco.ie and to check the lost and found dogs page where the council posts photos of dogs that are missing and dogs that have been brought into the pound.
