Horse running loose on the N63
Motorists are asked to drive with caution while attempts are being made to restrain a horse on the N63.
It appears the horse broke out of its enclosure and was running loose on a section of road, about ten minutes outside Lanesboro on the Roscommon side.
In the past hour, traffic was at a standstill for a short time while a lorry driver and others attempted to stop the horse.
Motorists are still advised to drive with caution however as a second horse may also be on the road due to the opening in the roadside enclosure.
