Karen will be working full time in the Dolmen Centre and it will now be opening up five days a week.
The centre has been an integral part of the local community for over 30 years , and the purpose of the day was to liaise with the local community and stakeholders to see what the emerging needs are within the community.
It was a very successful day with a very large turnout and a range of speakers from Longford County Council, Longford Sports Partnership, Community Gardai, Longford Age Friendly , Longford ETB, Public Health Nurses, Longford Local Link and local elected representatives.
A comprehensive questionnaire and survey was also conducted and everyone is really looking forward to the next chapter of the Dolmen Centre, which has played such an important role in the lives of the community in North Longford.
