Planning green light for 14 new houses in north Longford village

Plans for the development of over a dozen new houses in Ballinamuck have been given the go-ahead by Longford County Council.

Developer Frank McKenna was approved permission to construct 14 houses at St Patrick's Court in the north Longford village by the county council planners in recent days.

The plans provide for six three bedroom two storey semi-detached type dwelling houses, eight two bedroom two storey terraced type dwelling houses in the form of two blocks of four units in each.

The plans also allow for the proposed extension of existing access road, green open space, boundary fences/walls, proposed connections into the existing foul sewer, surface water & watermain networks serving the existing residential housing estate known as “St. Patricks Court” (Clos Naoimh Padraig) and all ancillary works.

The plans were given approval subject to 18 conditions.
