Ballymahon Library was the focus of great excitement during the launch of the Ballymahon Town Centre First Plan.
The plan - which identifies an economic, educational and cultural vision for Ballymahon town centre - aims to champion local enterprise and a strong community spirit.

Those in attendance at the recent launch of the Town Centre First plan, which also included students from the Ballymahon Vocational School, heard how the community‑led vision will strengthen local business as well as enhance public spaces.

The overall goal of The Town Centre First Plan is to create a vibrant, welcoming town for everyone, both residents and visitors alike and will include elements such as new and improved amenities; stronger links to nature, culture, and community, as well as safer, more people‑focused streets.
