Longford Gardaí arrest van driver who tested positive for cocaine
Longford Gardaí have arrested a van driver who tested positive for cocaine.
The Longford Roads Policing Unit stopped a van yesterday (Friday, September 22) near the N4 outside the town.
The driver had no insurance, no tax and no CVRT. He also tested positive for cocaine.
The driver was arrested and his vehicle seized.
Court proceedings are to follow.
Earlier in the week, Longford Roads Policing Unit also seized a car after they found that the driver didn't have a driving licence or valid insurance.

When stopped, it was found that the driver didn't have a driving licence or valid insurance.
