The second annual Dromard Camino Walk took place on Saturday and proved to be a wonderful success. Fine weather conditions added to the occasion for the  over 300 participants who took part, with a brilliant atmosphere and sense of excitement as the crowds gathered from early morning at the Clubhouse.

The walk itself was very enjoyable for the participants. Both the full Camino route (35km) around the perimeter of the Parish and the 20km option provided safe and scenic surroundings for all. Combined with the hospitality, support and encouragement of the people of the parish along the route, it made for a memorable day. READ MORE BELOW PHOTO

As the walkers returned to the clubhouse, well-earned hot refreshments were served and participants received their Camino medals.
