AdVIC, an organisation that advocates for victims of homicide, is holding an information event in the Longford Arms Hotel on Monday, September 18 from 7pm to 8.30pm for frontline workers and services in Longford and surrounding areas.
The purpose of the events is to increase awareness about the effects of grief that occur after homicide or fatal assault, as well as to provide information on how to direct individuals to AdVIC for various bereavement support services following a homicide.
If you work in any way with the public this event will be of benefit to you.
The event will provide information about grief and loss following the unlawful killing of a loved one and the range of bereavement supports available from AdVIC.
