The annual Mass for deceased members is one of the most important days of the year for the Peter Keenan Branch O.N.E.
This year it will be held on Sunday, September 10 in St Mel’s Cathedral, Longford at 1pm.
We remember all who served in Sean Connolly Barracks down through the years, those who died while serving will be remembered in a special way, as will our comrades who passed away since our Mass last year, namely, William Furlong, Gerry Daly, Frank Fetherston, Dan Murtagh and Mick Fox.
Those attending are asked to be at the Cathedral no later than 12.30pm.
The wreath laying ceremony will take place in the Memorial Garden, after Mass. Dress, uniform, medals, and white gloves. Refreshments in Pig Market Lane, afterwards, all welcome.
Peter Keenan Branch O.N.E. chairperson Pat Masterson and members would like to thank Longford Vintage Club for their generosity in allowing us the use of their clubhouse for meetings.
New members are always very welcome, to join, ONE, just contact any member, or online at, https://www.one-veterans. org/one-membership/
