Longford County Council planners have received a number of planning applications in regard to developments across the county.
Frank McKenna has made an application for a development at S. Patrick's Court (Clos Naoimh Padraig), Shanmullagh, Ballinamuck, Longford.
The application proposes the construction of 14 houses consisting of six three-bedroom two-storey semi-detached houses, eight two-bedroom two-storey terraced houses in the form of two blocks of four units in each.
The application covers the proposed extension of an existing access road, green open space, boundary fences and walls, and the connections into the existing foul sewer, surface water and watermain networks serving the existing residential housing estate. The application was made last week and a decision is due by October 8.

The planning application is for the proposed construction of a residential development of nine four-bedroom two-storey dwelling houses, with new entrance, internal access road and footpaths, green open space, boundary fences and walls.
The application covers the proposed connection into the existing wastewater treatment unit and percolation area servicing the adjoining residential development known as “The Rocks” and all ancillary works to the site at Stonepark, Longford, Longford.
