Templemichael College Leaving Cert and Leaving Cert Applied students who received their results pictured at the school with their Year Head Ms Doorley
The halls of Templemichael College were echoing with pride and excitement on Friday, August 25 as they celebrated the remarkable achievements of their Leaving Certificate 2023 students in both the Leaving Certificate Established and Leaving Certificate Applied programmes.
Principal Sorcha Nic Dhonnacha said 'this extraordinary group of young minds has shown dedication, resilience, and determination, achieving fantastic results that speak volumes about their hard work and commitment'.
A proud Ms Nic Dhonnacha continued, "In the Leaving Certificate Established programme, our students demonstrated their academic prowess by achieving impressive grades across a diverse range of subjects. Equally impressive are the results of our Leaving Certificate Applied students, who have showcased their practical skills and applied knowledge, proving that there are many pathways to success.
"Last Friday, our school campus buzzed with an atmosphere of jubilation as these exceptional students gathered to share their well-deserved success with their teachers and peers. It was truly a heartwarming sight to witness their smiles, laughter, and mutual support as they reflected on their five years of hard work, culminating in their outstanding results.
"While these results are undoubtedly a cause for celebration, it is crucial to remind our students that their worth extends far beyond their academic achievements. As they eagerly await their college offers next week, it's important to acknowledge that life's journey is not solely defined by examination scores. There are myriad opportunities for further education, apprenticeships, and vocational training that can lead to equally fulfilling and successful lives.
"To our remarkable students, as you embark on this new chapter, always remember that your journey is uniquely yours. Embrace challenges, seize opportunities, and continue to strive for excellence. Your hard work and character have brought you this far, and they will undoubtedly guide you toward a future filled with promise and achievement."
