While the live music is the headline act of the Marquee of Drumlish Festival there is more to the annual even.
Marquee Teen Madness takes place on Thursday, August 17. This is an evening of entertainment aimed particularly at teens with live DJ sets and a UV show. The audience is 12 to 16 years of age, and it runs from 8:30 to 10:30.
There will be adult supervision, no alcohol and no vaping. Admission is by pre-sold tickets only.
On Saturday from 2:00pm to 4:30pm the Festival coordinates a Kiddies Disco. This is an afternoon of fun in the Marquee for the youngest of Festival goers. Also the Monster Bingo that will be held as part of the Festival in the '98 hall in Ballinamuck on Sunday at 3pm.
The Festival sponsors are Mike and Martin Mulleady of Mulleady Properties, with funding support from Longford County Council, the local Arts Office, Longford Community Resources Ltd and Longford Tourism.
Profits from this year's festival will also support the local St Vincent De Paul.
