Successful Longford and Roscommon fundraiser in memory of Ronan McDermott raises almost €15,000 for Pieta House

There was a fantastic turnout for the Tractor, Truck and Car Run in memory of Ronan McDermott on Sunday, April 30 last.

The family wish to express thanks to everyone for taking part.

They said the support was amazing from tractors, cars, trucks, motor bikes, volunteers, spectators, those who donated raffle prizes, made cakes and sandwiches.

"Thanks to St Faithleach's Clubhouse for hosting the event, Lough Ree Sub Aqua Club who led the event, the Gardaí for controlling the traffic on the day and Roscommon Civil Defence who were on site."

The family added, "We are proud to share we raised €14,865.00 for Pieta House. And have also exceeded our targets."

Sharon, Sean, Michael, Catherine, Emma and Caitlin extend a huge thank you to everyone.
