PICTURES | Longford schools on creative crusade with The Knights and Conquests crew in Granard

The Granard Knights and Conquests crew in conjunction with Creative Ireland Longford and Longford Library Services took to the road on a Creative Crusade. In the lead up to Cruinniú na nÓg, local students from St Patrick's NS, St Guasacht NS, Mullahoran NS and Sacred Heart NS, Granard participated in creative workshops facilitated by Déirdre Orme, Robert Pakenham, Ros McAdden and Maureen Needham.

An exhibition entitled 'Time-Line' consisting of the children's postcards to the future and a 'Chain-Mail' installation made up of messages of positivity are on display at Knights and Conquests Heritage Centre, Rathcronan, Granard. Open daily 10am-5pm.
