Orlagh Mealy is 21 and from Ballinamuck. She attended Gaigue National School and Moyne Community School and works in Loughrey’s CarePlus Pharmacy, Longford. She has a keen interest in promoting and maintaining the Irish Draught horse as it's an endangered breed. She owns a Bencroy Silver, an Irish draught stallion, that she shows and hunts and her ambition is to breed Irish draught / Irish sporthorses. Orlagh’s hobbies include hunting in the winter and showing her horses at local shows and stallion exhibitions. She enjoys a challenge and spends her free time learning natural ways of training and bringing on young stock.
