Close to 50 properties are on Longford County Council's derelict sites register
There are almost 50 vacant properties on the county's derelict sites register, it was revealed last week.
Director of Services John Brannigan said there was approximately 46 units on the council's books, statistics he said the local authority remained keen to address.
“It’s an area we need to get more active in. We have 46 properties on the Derelict Sites register, but it is somewhat inaccurate as some should be moved off it and some should be added to it,” he said.
