Newlyweds

Sarah Duignan and Ronan McEntire raising a glass to many years of health and happiness behind the bar of the famous TallyHo, Longford

There were great celebrations on Friday, December 9 as Sarah Duignan, Longford town and Ronan McEntire, Dromard tied the knot following a lovely ceremony in St Mel's Cathedral.

Bride Sarah is daughter John and Assumpta Duignan, of the renowned TallyHo Bar, Longford and she is working as a Clinical Placement Co-Ordinator at Beaumont Hospital.

Groom Ronan, who has played for Longford and Dromard at all levels, and is a key member of the current Dromard senior football squad, is the son of former County Councillor Luie McEntire and Margaret McEntire, Annagh, Moyne. Ronan works with Harmonica Fund Services in Dublin as a Senior Portfolio Analyst.

Prior to setting off to celebrate with family, neighbours and friends at their wedding reception in Farnham Estate, the happy couple made their way to the TallyHo to toast their marriage with perfectly poured pints of creamy Guinness.

The couple also posed for a photograph outside the Tallyho which was adorned with Longford Slashers flags wishing the local ladies every success in the All-Ireland Club Final.

Congratulations to Sarah and Ronan and here's wishing them many years of health and happiness together.
