St Guasacht’s NS receive funding for new classroom

St Guasacht's National School, Bunlahy is in line to receive funding for a new classroom, it has been confirmed.

The news was welcomed by local Cllr, Micheál Carrigy, who said the funds will go towards the development of an additional classroom and toilet facilities at the school in Bunlahy, Granard, Co Longford.

“The local community recently developed a play area at the school to enhance its facilities. This funding will enhance its educational facilities to provide state of the art classrooms for its pupils,” he said.

Cllr Carrigy then thanked Minister Joe McHugh for his support with this project.
