She is very thankful for the support she received from Longford and believes her running mate Barry Campion performed well

Sinn Féin’s Sorca Clarke, the poll topper in the 2020 General Election, has retained her Dáil seat in Longford Westmeath as she surpassed the quota on Count 13. 

Sinn Féin’s spectacular vote management was very much in evidence as Deputy Clarke received 2,353 transfers from the distribution of her running mate, Barry Campion’s 2,987 votes.

Deputy Clarke with 10,878 votes surpassed the quota (10,315) with 563 votes to spare and her surplus will be distributed during Count 14..
