“They’re cutting back on farming all we’re hearing is they’re cutting back on farming, if we cut back how are they going to feed the population, it’ll be coming in from Argentina and Brazil and all these countries.

“At the end of the day if we quit producing beef someone else is going to produce it somewhere else, and we have I’d say the greenest beef in the world here,” explained Jody

“The housing issue isn’t being solved because they’re not planning it, it’s all jammed up and there's no housing estates anywhere, sure there's a town here and they haven’t built an estate in it in 20 years nearly since the Celtic Tiger.”

Jody told us how he was thinking of voting in this election.

“I don’t know, I would have always voted for Fianna Fáil but I can’t see myself voting that way this time, I think with what Fianna Fáil has become you might as well just vote for anyone.”
