What Longford town voters are saying: 'A whole lot of social issues need to be sorted out'

Longford people tell us the issues they will consider before casting their vote

“Well obviously it's like everything else housing is first of all and as you know yourself everybody is struggling out there and it's a serious time of the year to be having an election but we have to have one, it's called. I hope Longford gets two TDs and it'd be great for the county. Joe Flaherty is in there and he's doing a great job as far as I'm concerned for Longford but I'd also love to see Gerry Warnock, an independent, elected. A fresh voice, new blood on the block. He has his training done with the county, he started at the bottom and its in his genes from his dad Christy and Longford is going to get behind our representatives. I come from a large family and we try to work our way around as a system and we work as a team so it's not that I know anything but I know how to count and we're hoping for two.”
