Mercy Ballymahon cruised to a very easy win over St Joseph’s Navan in the Lidl Post-Primary Schools Ladies Football Leinster Senior ‘C’ Final at the Kinnegad grounds on Thursday.

St Joseph’s Navan Secondary School . . . 3-5
There was just no stopping the dynamic wing forward Sarah Dillon from the Milltown club in Westmeath who clocked up the tremendous total of 5-7 (all from play).
The title winners held a comfortable 1-9 to 1-2 lead at the break with the outstanding Dillon scoring the goal in the 12th minute.
Ballymahon SS really ran riot in the second half in adding a further 6-6 to their most impressive tally with the goals coming from Dillon (4), Clodagh Lohan and Melissa O’Kane.
