Na Fianna knock Killoe out

A gallant display from Killoe Ladies was not enough to cause an upset in the first round of the Leinster Senior Club Football Championship at Emmet Park on Saturday evening last as Na Fianna from Dublin showed their experience and class in coming out on top.

A gallant display from Killoe Ladies was not enough to cause an upset in the first round of the Leinster Senior Club Football Championship at Emmet Park on Saturday evening last as Na Fianna from Dublin showed their experience and class in coming out on top.

For much of the game the Longford champions made it difficult for their Dublin counterparts but silly mistakes and giving the ball away too easily cost them on a number of occasions. Indeed a lot of Na Fianna’s scores came from slack and wayward passing from the Killoe side.
