After guiding Rathcline to the semi-final stage of the Senior Football Championship for the first time in 23 years, Gareth Johnston is the boss of the Lanesboro outfit for another season.
Totally committed during his playing career with his club and county, Gareth has developed into a well regarded coach and will be going all out to get the best from the Rathcline players on the pitch this year.
Supposedly joining Johnston on the Rathcline management team for the 2026 campaign is former Longford senior football supremo and a man of many clubs Denis Connerton, apparently acting in an advisory role for his native club if that happens to be the case!
