After guiding Fr Manning Gaels to Intermediate Football Championship glory in 2024, former Abbeylara and Longford star Niall Sheridan will manage Mostrim in the battle for the Hennessy Cup in 2026.
Struggling for numbers with a few of their key players missing last season, Edgeworthstown were relegated from the senior grade having held the treasured status since 1968.
Mostrim will be hoping to make an immediate return to the top flight under the driving force of new boss Sheridan who has coached a number of clubs in the county.
Big Niall was the manager of the St Mary’s Granard U-21 footballers who won the ‘B’ Championship title in 2025.
