It will be a very hard act to follow but Carrickedmond clubman Joe Breslin will be hoping to make a big impact in the role of the new manager of the Longford U-17 football squad in 2025.
Colmcille native Enda McGahern, now a senior selector, guided ‘little’ Longford to a massive Leinster Minor Football Championship triumph in 2024 and his successor is no stranger to Longford GAA.
One of a dedicated group of people who have worked hard to establish Club Longford since its foundation in 2019, Joe Breslin has been involved in the coaching of the underage football development squads during the past few years.
