Young Grattans . . . 2-10    Colmcille . . . 0-8

2022 winners Young Grattans are back in the Junior ‘A’ football final after recording a convincing victory over the Colmcille second string at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park on Sunday.

Niall Vance’s charges had the comfortable margin of 8 points to spare in the finish in advancing to meet local rivals Longford Slashers in a repeat of the 2014 title decider in the Tier 3 championship.

A goal and two points from man-of-the-match Harry Mulvihill, a goal and four points from John Hand and an excellent defensive display from the Grattans backs paved the way for a richly deserved win for the superior Stonepark side.
