Longford’s Michelle Hannify Mulvey selected for Ireland Over 40 ladies football squad

The Ireland Over 40 Ladies squad for the upcoming Masters International Rules Series against Australia has been named and includes players from 23 counties, most notably Drumlish native Michelle Hannify Mulvey who plays her club football with Carrickedmond.

Another former Longford player, Michelle Bohan (nee Ross), is also selected for the Irish Masters. The Legan native is now living in Westmeath and played her club football with Carrickedmond. Michelle now plays with The Downs club. 

Two test matches featuring Men’s Over 40s, Ladies Over 40s and Men’s Over 50s will take place in Mullagh, Co. Galway on March 9 and Denn, Co. Cavan on March 16. 

The Over 40s ladies management team comprises  Michael Moyles (Mayo), Maria Devenney (Donegal), Samantha Lambert (Tipperary) and DJ Collins (Cork). 

The Ireland Masters Ladies squad is as follows:
