GAA: Longford’s Jack Duggan on the move to Roscommon

Clonguish footballer Jack Duggan is making an inter-county move to Roscommon after not featuring for the Longford senior side this year in Paddy Christie’s first season as the manager of the midlanders. 

Duggan is eligible to play for Roscommon and has declared to switch under the GAA’s parentage rule. His father Derek Duggan is a former Roscommon forward of considerable quality, winning a Connacht title in 1991.

Jack played for the Longford senior football team in 2022 when Billy O’Loughlin was in charge and most recently the promising attacker lined-out for his club Clonguish in the narrow defeat against Killoe in the county SFC final.
