Backboned by ten of the starting team who were so unlucky to lose against Monaghan in last year’s All-Ireland U-18 ‘B’ final after extra-time, the current Longford minor ladies football squad are in action at home to Dublin in the opening round of the 2023 ‘A’ Championship.

Glennon Brothers Pearse Park is the venue for the match this Wednesday evening (April 5) with a 6.45pm throw-in and the other fixtures in the Leinster Ladies Minor ‘A’ Championship are Kildare (away) and Meath (home).

Back in charge of the Longford minor ladies is Pat Tiernan and the other members of the management team are Paddy Ganly, Aisling Cosgrove and Kirsten Fallon.
