Celebrating people who inspire us: The latest edition of Longford Life magazine is on sale
The February / March edition of Longford Life magazine is packed full of fantastic local content and is on sale now
As the days stretch a little longer and the first hints of spring appear, our February/March edition of Longford Life magazine is filled with fresh beginnings, and a celebration of the people who inspire us.
With Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and St Patrick’s Day all dotted on the spring horizon, this is a season that invites us to pause, reflect and appreciate the people who shape our lives.
To mark Mother’s Day, our big interview is with one of Longford’s most recognisable mothers, Gráinne Fox, who juggles family life, her career as a teacher, and coaching the next generation of local singers, actors and dancers.
In our Journey to the Job, businesswoman Jenna Farrell talks about the success of Scopey, why family is so important to her, and her exciting plans for the year ahead.
Award-winning photographer Luke Danniells opened his ‘Bog Story’ exhibition to much acclaim and, as official photographer for The Cure, he talks about touring with Madonna, Michael Jackson, David Bowie and U2.
Meanwhile, Mullinalaghta’s Brónagh Rogers traces her passion for baking right back to her childhood, while all-round funny man and TV presenter Kevin McGahern reveals his Seven Deadly Sins.
Here’s to longer evenings, brighter days and a spring in all our steps. Happy reading!
